Dr. David Joseph Daigneault

Dr. David Joseph Daigneault received the Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1975. In 1979, he received the Master of Music Education degree from delta State University and later earned the Doctorate of Arts from the University of Mississippi. Among his bands accomplishments include 34 Grand Championships or Best In Class Awards and over 225 Superior Ratings in Concert, Marching, Jazz, and Parade Contest. Among those events where his bands received Grand Champion or Best in Class include: Northeast Mississippi Marching Contest (Mississippi); West Memphis Arkansas Marching Festival Arkansas); Contraband Festival (Louisiana); Marching Bands of America (Arkansas); Mid-South Invitational Marching Contest (Tennessee); Bands of America (Mississippi); Bands of America Grand National (Indiana & Michigan) and the Arkansas State Invitational Marching Contest. He has served as the President of the I-55 Band Director’s Association, President of Phi Beta Mu, and Vice President for the Mississippi Bandmasters Association. He is widely sought as a clinician and adjudicator.
